·         Deputy Attorney General, State of Idaho, 1979-1980, Natural Resources Division.  Duties included the State Land Board, all mining and zoning matters affecting the State.  Advised local officials on the Local Planning Act.

 

·         Private practice, Connolly and Smyser, Ctd. 1980-present.  A general practice law firm dealing primarily in governmental affairs, administrative law, civil litigation, family law and business law.

 

·         Admitted to practice before the Idaho Supreme Court and all of its subordinate courts; the Federal District Court for Idaho; the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals; the United States Court of Claims; Member, Idaho State Bar Association.
